It is highly recommended that you complete both Course 1 Skills Basics and Course 2 Skills Coaching Strategies. Each course takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Are you intending to complete the E-Learning prior to the 2-Day Instructor’s Training?

Recommended Training Materials: The Emotion Regulation Skills System for the Cognitively Challenged Client (2016-Blue cover) text contains 150 pages of downloadable handouts that we will refer to at the 2-Day Instructor’s Training. Having a copy of the Skills System text improves the learning experience as we discuss teaching strategies. You can order the text via Amazon or Guilford Press; it is usually approximately $39 plus shipping. Once you purchase the book you also have access to Children’s versions of the handouts.
